POULAN, GA (WALB) - A Worth County farmer lost his life doing what he loved. 57-year-old Willie Williams of Poulan was on a tractor working at Bryant Farms Sunday afternoon when he hit hole. He fell off and died.
Folks at the farm say he was a good man to be around. His sister, Mary Howard, says Williams farmed his whole life, and she's still trying to put together what happened.
"It was hard to sink in you know, it was heart breaking. But you know I'm just one of those people who take it one day at a time."
Mary Howard says the family is still making funeral plans from Williams.
