Star Gazing in Albany

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - People enjoyed watching the stars inside the Thronateeska planetarium today.

Its a fun way for young people to learn about astronomy.

Not only did they get to watch a movie, but an astronomer came out to speak with everyone.

"They're going to learn where they come from, they're going to learn what stardust is. And how the elements that create planets you and me, the iron in their blood they're going to learn where it comes from," Jim Friese said.

This is all part of a series. They'll host the next part on October the 15th.
