THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

A surprise for a superhero at the Thomasville Boys & Girls Club.
Everfan, a local company that makes superhero capes, gave Keesha Walden a special cape this afternoon in front of dozens of club members.
She works with kids in the visual and performing arts program there.
Walden was nominated by her peers for being a shining example of a local superhero.

"So we've reached out to several organizations to find local superheroes that we can provide capes too and give them the cape that they deserve,” said Scott Chastain, Everfan Owner.

"When I saw the sign coming in with my name on it I was like what is going on and then they said it and I was like oh my gosh because this job you don't look for accolades you just do it,” said Keesha Walden, Recipient.

The Club will celebrate National day for Kids tomorrow from 3 to 6.
