CAMILLA, GA (WALB) - Police confirmed that lanes have been cleared from a crash involving a semi truck on U.S. 19 in Camilla.
It happened after 3:15 p.m. Friday near the intersection of East Broad Street.
Camilla Police said a pickup truck was traveling north on U.S. 19 when it lost control, jumped a curb, and hit a semi truck head-on.
It appeared to involve a tanker truck that was carrying food products.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Officials opened lanes back up to drivers around 5 p.m.
