ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Latoya Cutts attended her first Downtown Development Authority meeting as downtown manager tonight.
She says she's excited to take over at a time when there is growing support and positive energy about downtown redevelopment.

"I'm just kind of pretty much taking on a thirty day period just to really come in and ensure that the projects that have already been started that we continue the progress on those,” said Latoya Cutts, Downtown Manager. “So moving forward with those and making sure that nothing is stalled. So that people can start to see some of the positive things that are already in the works for downtown."

Cutts used to be the City's Department of Community and Economic Development Director.
