ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police will host two Business Watch meetings Wednesday, to look at ways business owners can fight crime together.
Business Watches are similar to Neighborhood Watches. Businesses share ideas and information about crime with each other and police, looking for solutions.
"Let's talk about what's going on," said Albany Police Corporal Brian Covington. "Maybe because what one business has, they may be having the same problem as another store. Some of these instances may be done by the same person."
The Business Watch meetings will Wednesday at 1:00 and 6:00 at the Albany Police Law Enforcement Center. Officers invite all business owners or managers to attend.
