VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - A Valdosta State University campus ministry is expanding.
Tuesday, members of the Wesley Foundation officially dedicated the new addition to their house at the corner of Patterson and College Streets. It took about six months to complete.
It will allow the foundation's leaders to live on campus in one building for the first time.
"One of the aspects we love about the discipleship house is the sustainability it brings to our campus. So, the students who live here, the money they pay helps support our mission staff," said Campus Ministry Exec. Director C. J. Harp
The Bishop of the United Methodist Church for south Georgia was also on hand to bless the new building.
