MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - Moultrie Police worked a DUI wreck this morning at a business.
Police say a man driving a van hit a stop sign then crashed into the back of Loblolly Lumberyard on 1st Avenue.
The crash left a big crack in the wall.
Moultrie police say they've made more than fifty DUI arrests this year.
"So we're looking at all during the day there are people out on the roads they are putting people in danger that are putting lives in danger just because they decided to drink and get behind the wheel and want to drive," said Cpl. Rocky Hancock, Moultrie Police. "Every DUI we get is great. We get the people off the streets."
Police have not released the driver's name.
He suffered non-life threatning injuries and was taken to Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
