GNC employee robbed at gunpoint, tied up

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Valdosta Police continued Monday to search for two men accused of robbing an employee at the GNC store at gunpoint.

Police said two men followed 18 year old Jordan Bryant into the store around 1:30 Sunday afternoon. The two men started asking questions and then one pulled out a gun, forced Bryant into the bathroom, and tied him up with a belt.

They took Bryant's wallet, cell phone, and cash from the store.

Valdosta Police Department Cpt. Bobbi McGraw said a customer came in a few minutes later and heard Bryant yelling and was able to find him and free him. "[They] opened the door and found the clerk there basically tied up. They helped him get untethered and then he immediately called 911," McGraw explained.

As of Monday afternoon, police are working to get surveillance video from the surrounding area.

Call Valdosta Police if you have any information.
