MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - Colquitt Regional Medical Center patients are getting to touch and feel a device some surgeons are using.
Doctors held a demonstration to give visitors a test drive of the DaVinci Surgical Robot.
It gives doctors a better view when operating, and they said it benefits the patients as well.
"It requires less pulling and tugging, less damage to muscle, less incision length on the abdomen. It makes it much easier for the patient to recover," said surgeon Howard Melton.
The hospital has had the robot for two years.
