VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Someone was shooting off a gun Sunday in the parking lot of a Valdosta chicken restaurant, and a man was hit by a bullet, between 3:00 and 3:30AM.

Valdosta Police officers were dispatched to South Georgia Medical Center where James Bivins, had come into the Emergency Room with a gunshot wound to his lower torso.

Bivins told them the incident happened at Andy's Wings and Things, at 810 Old Statenville Road.
