LEESBURG, GA (WALB) -

The community gathered for Nick Widner's funeral at True Life Church of God in Leesburg on Sunday.

For his love of motorcycles, area motorcycle clubs came out to show their support and take part in his funeral procession on Sunday.

"Oh its just moving from what goes from a few texts and a phone call through social media," said family friend Blase Goodman. "It just spreads through the community and these are the type of people who represent what we do."

Widner died after a long battle with a rare type of bone cancer.

Widner was diagnosed when he was 14 years old. Now the family is working to spread awareness about childhood cancer.
