MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

A 67-year-old woman died after a two-car crash on Highway 133. Another driver, Nancy Marie Wells, 25, was arrested for DUI, and taken to the Colquitt County Jail.

According to Georgia State Patrol (GSP) a wreck between a Dodge truck and a Caravan happened Saturday around 8:30 p.m. near Moultrie.

Linda Stripling was ejected from her vehicle, and died in the accident. Her passenger was trapped in the vehicle, and later transported to the hospital.

Police tell us that Linda Stripling was driving with Donnie Stripling North Bound on HWY 133, when Nancy Wells tried to pass their van.

Due to oncoming traffic, she was not able to. She ended up hitting the left side of their van while trying to maneuver back into the lane

Both cars landed in a ditch, and the van was upside down. Linda was thrown from the van, Donnie was entrapped, and authorities took Wells into custody.

Donnie Stripling has been treated and released.

A GSP Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is going to reconstruct the accident.
