ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany Rescue Mission collected donations at Albany and Lee County Chick-fil-A locations on Saturday.
Many people came to drop off perishable food, hygiene products and cash donations. The rescue mission workers feed lots of people throughout the year and say every donation helps.
"Our need for donations they increase as the need increase," said Christopher Liberto. "We feed the public two times a day breakfast and lunch as well as we house 45 guys and we feed them three times a day."
