Florida Crash victims' family speaks out

MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - Lidia Luna still holds an owl that her daughter Lillian purchased before she passed away.

Lillian and her fiance Thomas Garza were celebrating their one-year-old Brianna's birthday. They were on their way to Disney World Sunday. Lillian texted her mother from the road.

"She send me a message mama I'm still ok, mama I love you and I told her be careful. I love you too. About 11:15.. that's the last message I got," Lidia Luna said.

A speeding driver crashed into the family's car on the Florida turnpike near Orlando.  It overturned and caught on fire.  Later that day, police came to Mrs. Luna's door to tell her about the tragedy.

"I told him don't tell me nothing no more I don't want to hear."

That same day they family put something together in their back yard to honor all three. They are still grieving the lost.

"Pray for us because there is a lot of pain there is too much pain in our soul," Luna said.

The Lunas describe the couple as people who loved their family dearly.

"Everywhere that Thomas and her go they want to take us," Luna said.

Now all the family wants is justice. and Lillian has this message for the man accused of causing the crash.

"Let me know that he can't sleep, because I can't," Luna said.
