Car plows into East Albany home

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

One man is in jail after he drove his car into a woman's living room.

Police said 33-year-old Joshua Moore drove his car across the lawn of Gwendolyn Proctor and into her living room at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

Officials responded to her home on Amsterdam Lane, and arrested Moore.

He was charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane, no proof of insurance, no license, open container, and hitting a stationary object.

Moore was taken to the Dougherty County Jail.
