MACON CO., GA (WALB) - Police say a man who escaped from custody Sunday night after being arrested for driving with a suspended license has been captured.
Timothy Syntrell Rowland was taken into custody in Macon County three days after his escape.
Authorities said he somehow managed to slip through the back of a police cruiser to the front seat, and then drove the vehicle at two officers during his escape.
Officials were able to find and capture Rowland after the Macon County Sheriff's Office got a tip that he was in a home next to his relatives.
Rowland is expected to be brought back to the Lee County Jail to face charges of aggravated assault, felony theft, escape, and cruelty to children.
