CAMILLA, GA (WALB) -

A clerk at the Kangaroo Express at 301 Highway 19 South in Camilla, was stocking the candy aisle late last night, when a man put a large knife to her throat, and told her to "Give me the money, or I’ll kill you."

The Camilla Police Department responded when the call came in at 9:00.

The clerk stated the man walked up behind her and accosted her with the knife.

She opened the register and stepped back as the man grabbed the cash from the register drawer and ran out of the store.

Camilla Police Chief Investigator Robert Casterline said the robbery was captured on video, and they are searching for a black man between 5' 8" and 5' 10", wearing long black pants, a black T-shirt with a long sleeve white shirt underneath, a black skull cap or doo-rag over his head, and a white cloth covering his face.

The suspect was also wearing latex of vinyl type gloves.  The clerk was not physically harmed.
