ALBANY, GA (WALB) - More Americans hit the roads this Labor Day weekend because of low gas prices.
Gas at the Enmark Station on Clark Avenue in Albany for less than $2.00.
Experts say the national average could drop below $2.00 a gallon by Christmas. Drivers say the cheap gas prices are making it to commute and travel.
"I think it's wonderful," said Beverly Royster, Driver. "I have to travel back and forth to Moultrie everyday its helping me out a whole lot."
"Oh it's beautiful," said Johnny Henson, Driver. "I love it. Plus you got a gas card to go with it. Yeah it's a beautiful thing. Then I stay right up the street from here too. I'm no where from the gas place so it's a beautiful thing."
AAA says the average price for a gallon of gas in Georgia is $2.24.
