Three Colquitt Countians killed in Florida wreck

ORLANDO, FL (WALB) - The Florida Highway Patrol says that James Dameron, 24, of Orlando was driving south on the Florida Turnpike at 4:20 Sunday morning when his Mercedes hit the 2001 Nissan, driven by Thomas Garza of Moultrie.

Garza and his passenger, Lillian Luna, 20 also of Moultrie, were killed on the scene. A one year old baby girl, Brianna Garza, was ejected from the car, and died at a hospital.

Authorities said that both vehicles overturned on their sides and caught fire.

WKMG, Orlando reports that the man who caused the wreck, James Dameron, suffered minor injuries, and was driving with a suspended license, and had more than a dozen traffic infractions since 2013.

Troopers are asking for any witnesses to contact them at 407-737-2213.

This crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
