LEESBURG, GA (WALB) -

Football fans have been stocking up on tailgate items in preparation for the season.

One store that has seen a spike in sales is Modern Gas in Leesburg, and customers with plans to tailgate have stocked up on grills and coolers.

However, store president Mark Holloway says the yeti brand cups have been flying off the shelves.

Their ability to keep drinks cool for an extended period of time has been highly coveted.

"Our most popular items is the Yeti Koozies, said Holloway. "Which they call their colsters, and the Yeti ramblers which they call their cups. The Koozies will keep a cold drink cold for like 3 hours compared to like 30 minutes and the cups will hold ice for almost 8 hours a day."

Another hot item has been the Yeti coolers which Holloway says keeps ice all the way through the tailgates.
