More charges could come in late-week fires

Fire investigators confirm that three intentionally set fires last week are connected.

Robert Parson is charged with one count of criminal damage to property right now for lighting bushes on fire.

A car behind a house on West Tift was also set on fire around the same time.

"We have a witness that puts the same individual at 413 west Tift. We are following up. We have to first identify who the victim is," said Fire investigator Sam Harris with the Albany Fire Department.

Parson could be charged with a fire set on Flint Avenue as well.
