Burglars target recycling site

Judy Bowles, KADB Judy Bowles, KADB
ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful leaders are frustrated after burglars target a recycling facility.

The crooks broke out the window on a shed at the site on Meredyth Drive, some time early Monday morning. All that was stolen was a fire extinguisher.

The director wants people to know there's nothing inside worth taking.

"When you break in and go in there, we have to repair the windows and things and that's a waste of our time and was a waste of somebody's time that went in," said Judy Bowles.

No arrests have been made so far. If you have any information call Crimestoppers at 436-TIPS.
