COLQUITT CO., GA (WALB) - Reed Bingham State Park is preparing for a big turnout for Labor Day weekend.
The park boasts a 375-acre lake for recreational use, beach-side pavilions for barbecues and many camping sites.
This weekend the park will host a labor day putt putt tournament under the shade of the parks oak-covered course.
They will be giving out tours through the new nature center and there will even be a free Fishing rodeo for children and senior citizens.
"Really it's mostly just a family activity, the parks assistant manager Stuart Blackwell said. "Get out, have a barbeque, spend time with friends and family and really enjoy the outside before the colder weather starts coming in. That's pretty much the meaning. "
