Captain Tim Cooper of Tifton Fire Department reported that Firefighter Jacob Gill and Firefighter Dustin Sanders pulled Cheryl Ellerbe from the burning home.

Ellerbe was taken to the hospital. Officials say that she was receiving oxygen before she was transported but was talking and seemed to be okay.

The fire was mostly in the kitchen and was contained quickly.
