DONALSONVILLE, GA (WALB) - Donalsonville now has a way for small businesses to get their start.
It's an incubator program called Front Porch, an idea thought up by the downtown development authority.
Small businesses are able to rent a spot in the incubator and see how things go for them.
Some businesses have been able to gauge how well their business does and it gives them an opportunity to grow and help downtown Donalsonville grow.
"It has brought an interest in downtown. We have several new businesses open up," said vendor Kelli Williams. "And as I said several people passing through on 94 and they stop in or they'll see us on their way back through or some friends."
Vendors said they see more people stopping by since the new incubator opened up.
