ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Leadership Albany is entering its 30th year of developing leaders in the good life city.
They inducted more than 20 new members Thursday night at the Albany Museum of Art. The program has more than 700 alumni.
They were invited to the orientation to mingle with the new leaders in training who are eager to get started.
"I felt honored because I feel as though me being a leader and me being a servant, said freshly inducted Steven Ramey. "I feel as though this is a great platform that I can be able to have. And also just to broaden my horizons to be able to network and also be able to show what I have to bring to the table not only in Albany but the community as a whole."
Ramey works at Albany Area Primary Health Care.
He and the other members of the class will meet once a month through the Spring.
