CAMILLA, GA (WALB) - A crash in Mitchell County Thursday morning left a big mess.
A truck carrying a load of plywood from Florida to Lithonia flipped over.
Traffic was tied up for several hours after the wreck just before 3 a.m.
Deputies say that the driver swerved when his load shifted. He ran off the road and hit a utility pole.
"The utility company has already came and looked at it. They're coming out here to secure it and replace the pole," said Mitchell County Trooper Johnny Kirk.
Fire crews had to rescue the driver, who only suffered a couple minor bruises.
Nobody else was injured.
