ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The State is offering a new diploma for students interested in international business and policy.
To earn the International Skills Diplomas Seal graduates learn a world language, complete other coursework with an international focus, and participate in extracurricular activities with global themes.
Dougherty County School Officials are studying the new program to see if it's something they're interested in implementing.
"We're still in the research phase of this," said J.D. Sumner, DCSS Public Relations. "We've got to check it out and make sure that it's a good fit for our district. Our staff is preparing to go to some training a webinar on the program itself to make sure it's a good fit for us."
Georgia will be one of only three states to offer the seal.
