There was talk at the state capitol this year of getting rid of Georgia's popular back to school tax holiday.
We're glad lawmakers decided to keep it.
Once again, this year, it's only two days.
But this Friday and Saturday, you can save on clothes and shoes, computer equipment, and school supplies.
While local and state governments do lose out on some tax money, it's a good way to give people a break and encourage them to spend.
We urge you to head to your favorite local stores and help stimulate the economy by searching for some good deals this weekend.
