CAMILLA, GA (WALB) - A South Georgia film maker is working on her next big project right in her own home town.
Alana McNair grew up in Camilla and returned to her roots to create a tailor she hopes will turn into a movie.
She wrote a movie about a young girl from a small southern town, who's mother's die, and she has to compete in a talent show to raise money to survive.
"Yeah I mean it's definitely the same feeling of small place where everybody knows kind of in ever bodies lives even if you don't tell someone that day everybody knows what your doing that day. That's kind of the idea," Alana McNair said.
McNair is hoping the movie will get picked up by investors in New York.
