ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Tech engineering graduates now have a chance to earn a four year degree.
Albany Tech and Savannah State signed the agreement today that will allows Albany Tech Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology graduates to enroll as juniors at Savannah State.
The agreement started after two Albany Tech graduates were accepted into the Savannah State program.
"They were so willing to help those students. We made a phone call and we obviously thought we needed together. Formalize the relationship that was rather informal," said ATC President Dr. Anthony Parker.
Savannah State this year received 20 million dollars to upgrade their electronic and civil engineering departments.
