Police want information on "Slim Jim Bandits"

DOUGHERTY CO., GA (WALB) -

Dougherty County Police are asking for help to find this pair of "Slim Jim Bandits."

About 3 a-m on August 4th, one man distracts a clerk at Flash Foods on Nelms Road while a woman goes to the cooler and takes six 25-ounce beers and slips them into her purse.

Four days later at 5:30 in the morning, police say the same duo comes into the same store.
This time the woman swipes a box full of Slim Jims.

Dougherty County Police Lt. Chad Kirkpatrick said "Yes, they do want it to stop.  It causes them the hassle of losing the money.  Eventually they forward on the loss to the consumers, and we all have to pay for it."

If you can identify the man and woman in the surveillance video...
call CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
