VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

A 17 year old is accused of trying to sell drugs at his home to undercover Lowndes County sheriff's investigators.

Quinton Brown was arrested Wednesday evening as he left his home at 4885 Summit Ridge Rd. in Valdosta. Investigators had received tips from citizens about possible drug activity there, so they set up an undercover buy.

Multiple drugs were seized, including some Molly.

The sheriff's office says this is a great bust, especially given that about two weeks ago a man high on Molly had to be tased multiple times after fighting with deputies.

"With the growing prominence of those manufactured drugs such as Molly or Ecstasy or anything of that nature, it's extremely rewarding for us to be able to focus our efforts on the people intending to distribute that drug," said Lowndes Co. Sheriff's Office Lt. Stryde Jones.

Brown remains in the Lowndes County Jail tonight facing multiple charges.
