ALBANY, GA (WALB) - One man who was charged with the April 2013 murder of Terry Mack on Cone Street, has agreed to testify for the state in the murder trial of 34 year old Ronnie Darnell Holmes in Dougherty Superior Court.

Jury selection is underway in that case.

APD says Terry Mack was shot in the back of the head while sitting in his 1997 Chevrolet Blazer, when Holmes approached the driver's side and fired into the vehicle.

Mack was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Holmes also faces charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during certain crimes.

Woods was additionally charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault, but he made a deal with prosecutors, and will get 17 years probation in exchange for his truthful testimony.

Holmes is being held in Dougherty County jail.
