VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Police confirmed that the man who was shot in a shooting on Sunday died, and the sole suspect in the case has been charged with Murder.

According to officials, 18-year-old Damaria Hill died from his injuries Monday evening.

Hill was shot outside the home of 18-year-old Eric Simmons just after noon Sunday. Officers later identified Simmons as the shooter.

Police said Simmons and Hill had been arguing about a domestic issue, but declined Monday to specify what the issue was.

Authorities said Simmons was considered armed and dangerous.

"We're asking people not to approach him, not to try to talk to him or speak with him because we consider him armed and dangerous," said Valdosta Police Department Cpt. Bobbi McGraw. "He left with a handgun in his possession and he very well may still have that handgun with him."

Anyone who sees Simmons or has any information is urged to call Valdosta Police.
