Motocross group hoping to add to Nashville's Monster Mayhem event

Cody Cavanaugh Cody Cavanaugh
NASHVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Cody Cavanaugh is one of several motorcycle riders preparing to entertain what is expected to be a large crowd at the Berrien County Saddle Club Friday night for Nashville's annual Monster Mayhem event.

"We're gonna have three motorcycles, we're gonna have a four wheeler that jumps through the air. We're gonna have some little kid mini bike races," Cavanaugh said.

The group took interest in the event after hearing about last year's event and wanted to make it better. Cavanaugh believes that their performance will do just that.

"We thought we'd step it up a notch. We're gonna build the show up a little bit," Cavanaugh said, smiling.

This year's show will still have some monster truck action though. Cavanaugh says he's looking forward to the two night event knowing that this type of event is very popular with many in the area.

"It's no fun riding just by yourself. So, it's always great to have a big crowd behind you," explained Cavanaugh. "I think that with the little bit of variety in the show we have, it should bring out quite a variety of people."

Friday night's show starts at 8 p.m. and the show will be held again at 8 p.m. Saturday.
