Three arrested for Molotov cocktail attack

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Thursday afternoon, Lowndes County deputies arrested Daniel Graham, Elizabeth Cooper, and Cody Cooper, and charged them with Arson in the First Degree, for throwing Molotov cocktails at a house on Camellia Drive South.

Monday evening, around 6:00, Lowndes County Fire Rescue rushed to that house, and put out multiple fires that had been caused by the fire bombs that had been thrown at the home.

Investigators from the Sheriff's Office identified Graham and the Coopers as suspects. So far, investigators think they have a motive, but it has not been revealed.

Daniel Graham will appear this afternoon for an arraignment in the Lowndes Co. Magistrate Court, where a bond will be considered. The house that was set ablaze was his neighbor's.

Elizabeth Cooper and Cody Cooper were arrested in Madison County, Florida and are in jail awaiting extradition to Lowndes County. They live on North East Bellville Road, in Pinetta, Florida.

Sheriff Chris Prine said, "I am glad this potentially tragic attack on the victim's home did not result in the loss of life, or extensive damage to the victim's property."

Anyone with information about this case is urged to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 229 671-2950 or anonymous tips can be provided at 229 671-2985 or email at www.lowndessheriff.com.
