LOWNDES CO., GA (WALB) -

The portion of Shiloh Rd. in Lowndes Co. closed since August 5th due to a large sinkhole will reopen at 6 p.m.

Lowndes County Clerk Paige Dukes released the following statement Thursday evening regarding the reopening of the road:

The Lowndes County Engineering Department is pleased to announce that Shiloh Road, CR 775 north of its intersection with Franks Creek Road will be open by 6pm tonight.
