Investigators say they have arrested a former pharmacist was forging prescriptions and filling them herself.

The Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit and the Georgia Drugs and Narcotics Agency arrested 46-year-old Dana Amber Daughtry of Claxton. She turned herself in to authorities Monday.

She is charged with fraudulently obtaining controlled substances.

One week earlier, drug agents discovered Daughtry, a former pharmacist at Harvey's Pharmacy, had forged prescriptions for controlled substances and filled them for herself in Douglas.
