Two men have a bond hearing for cocaine, marijuana sales

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Andre Tyrone Freeman, 50, and Greg Jerome Belcher, 45, are having a bond hearing today in the Lowndes County Magistrate Court, on charges of drug sales and possession.

On Thursday night, around 10:15 investigators from the Special Operations Division of the Sheriff’s Office arrested the men after a traffic stop near Old Clyattville Road at South Patterson Street.

During the course of the traffic stop, investigators found 37 grams (1.31 ounces) of cocaine, marijuana, and scales which were hidden in the car. The drugs were packaged for sale.

Both men are charged with Trafficking cocaine, Possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and Possession of tools for the commission of a crime

Freeman who,lives on Loch Laurel Street, and Belcher who,lives on South Oak Street were taken to the Lowndes County Jail. 

Investigators were already trying to locate Andre Freeman for other warrants unrelated to this investigation.
