RANDOLPH CO., GA (WALB) -

The Randolph County Sheriff's Office partners with organizations for their third annual Back to School Bash in Shellman.
There was food, fun activities for kids and a school supply giveaway.
Randolph County Sheriff Eddie Fairbanks says it's important to give back to the community.

"To give back to the community is what we do,” said Sheriff Eddie Fairbanks, Randolph County Sheriff. “We give back to the community and the community has an opportunity to see us in a different way. Not just in law enforcement locking people up. I like for the kids to come out and be with us."

"Because I was an educator and I understand the importance of education in our area,” said State Representative Gerald Greene.

Another Back to School Bash will be held in Cuthbert tomorrow at 4:30 p.m.
