MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - You can see a new exhibit called "Hooked on Rugs" at the Colquitt County Art Center.
Berrien Cheatham created the rugs through the 70s, 80s, and 90s. He's from South Georgia and created everything from memory.
He used many of the creations as rugs in his own home.
"They'll are his designs, he would go somewhere, and he liked them, instead of having to buy them he would make his own. Just it was his hobby, said Leah Eunice, Curator.
The Thomasville Wiregrass Rug Hookers also has rugs on display. The exhibit runs until the beginning of October.
