Barbers help kids look sharp as school year begins

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Some barbers are making sure kids look good on their first day of school.

Eight barbers volunteered to give free haircuts to kids during Tuesday's National Night Out event in Albany.

Travis Wilson with Dent's Barbershop said he'll do anything to support young people.

"I feel like it's a good thing to reach out and give back to the kids, because they're the ones that help me out," he remarked.

Kids will walk the halls for the first time Wednesday morning with their fresh haircuts.
