ALBANY, GA (WALB) - This is the tenth year local Albany agencies have joined forces for National Night out.
It's an night where every one can just let their hair down. Including agencies like Albany Police, Dougherty County Police and Albany Fire.
Kids not only receive things like school supplies tonight, they also get to join in on a fun time.
Bounce houses and other fun activities are things kids can enjoy. This year, more agencies, including the GBI and GSP, are taking part.
"It shows unity, it shows the community that we are one and we're here for them. We're not here just to put you in jail or any kind of issues we want Albany to understand that law enforcement is here for them," Tamiko Whitlock said.
People can also learn about ways to protect their children at home and school.
