Police interview second suspect in armed robberies

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany police interviewed 16-year-old Ryshun Raybon Jackson who was wanted in connection to armed robberies at convenience stores.

Police picked up Jackson on the 800 block of Cotton Avenue between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Saturday morning.

Jackson was wanted for armed robbery and aggravated assault in connection to the robbery of a Woodall's on North Slappey Blvd.

He was also wanted for armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, three counts of aggravated assault, false imprisonment in connection to the robbery of a Flash Foods on the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 19 and Nelms Road.

Jackson was booked in the Dougherty County Jail Saturday afternoon on charges from APD and Dougherty County Police. 

Investigators already have Michael Alexander, 15, in custody, charged in the same two robberies.
