WORTH CO., GA (WALB) - Hundreds of Worth County students also met with their teachers during open house tonight.
Worth County Elementary School Principal says they're heavily focusing this year on literacy after the school district received the Striver Reader's Grant.
He says he's looking forward to the new school year.
"We had a great open house. It was so great to see all of the students. We're very excited to have all of our third graders coming up to us. It's going to be a great year," said Steven Rouse, Principal.
School starts Monday in Worth County.
