ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Work is nearly complete on the new Graham Lowe Family Health and Fitness Center at Deerfield-Windsor School.
They're adding about 6,000 feet of space for physical education classes.
The project will double the size of the weight room, provide more office space for coaches and a suite for the athletic trainer.
"It will give them a space where they can teach the students about weight training," said Headmaster Dave Davies. "We can get a whole team of them in there working out instead of dividing them. For our wrestlers it doesn't mean they have to go off campus to practice as they have in the past."
Construction is expected to be complete in about a month.
