AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - Folks say the city's farmer's market had a successful summer.
It will only be open on Saturdays from now on after being open every Tuesday and Thursday for the last few months.
City leaders say farmers and buyers from all around come to the market.
"We're really excited to have it right downtown. It brings a lot of traffic to downtown and it's really close to everything and not a lot of people have that right there," said Community Development Director Ben Andrews.
Andrews says farmers looking to sell at the market next year can fill out applications now.
