CORDELE, GA (WALB) - City leaders hope to fill up vacant buildings downtown, and they're reaching out for input from the public.
The city was chosen for a strategic vision and planning program run through UGA.
Citizens are being asked to take part in a survey to say what they'd like to see downtown.
"We want their opinion, their input. You know it's all about satisfying the public. What do they want? Where do they shop? What kind of stores? What kind of restaurants," said Cordele Main Street Director Monica Mitchell.
Mitchell said the city specifically wants to hear from faculty and students at the Darton State College campus downtown.
The survey can be found here.
